Hi! I’m Xio, and I’m from the north of Mexico.
My journey as a teacher began in 2012, and five years ago, I had the honor of joining the Helen Doron family in Albacete, Spain. Since then, I’ve been fascinated by their teaching methodology, which has positively transformed my view of education. Being able to witness the progress of the children, seeing how much they enjoy the classes and how naturally they use English, is truly a rewarding experience.
I consider myself a curious and creative person. I love coming up with new ideas and creating materials for fun activities that keep the children engaged. I also really enjoy singing and dancing, and I love incorporating these passions into the classroom to make the lessons even more dynamic and entertaining.
What fills me with the most joy is seeing how comfortable and confident the children feel expressing themselves in English, as if it were their mother tongue. It’s truly heartwarming to see them enjoy it so much and to accompany them on their learning journey!

¡Hola! Soy Xio, y soy del norte de México
Mi trayectoria como profesora comenzó en 2012, y hace 5 años tuve el honor de unirme a la familia Helen Doron en Albacete, España. Desde entonces, he quedado fascinada con su metodología de enseñanza, que ha transformado de manera positiva mi visión sobre la educación. Poder ser testigo del progreso de los niños, ver cómo disfrutan de las clases y usan el inglés de forma natural, es una experiencia muy gratificante.
Me considero una persona curiosa y creativa. Me encanta crear ideas y materiales para hacer actividades divertidas que mantengan el interés de los niños. Además, disfruto mucho de cantar y bailar, y me encanta poder incorporar estas pasiones en el aula para hacer las clases aún más dinámicas y entretenidas.
Lo que más me llena de alegría es ver cómo los niños se sienten cómodos y seguros al expresarse en inglés, como si fuera su lengua materna. ¡Es realmente conmovedor verlos disfrutar tanto y acompañarlos en su aprendizaje!

I’ve been a Helen Doron teacher since 2021. I was born in Belgium, but after the pandemic I moved to Albacete searching for a job. When I discovered Helen Doron English, it felt like I had found my calling.
Why do like teaching here so much? Well, first of all, it’s inspiring to see our students learn and grow every week. Secondly, I enjoy making creative props to stimulate our students’ learning progress. Finally, with our methodology, learning as well as teaching is just SO MUCH FUN!

¡Hola, soy Ona!
Soy profesora de Helen Doron desde 2021. Nací en Bélgica, pero después de la pandemia me mudé a Albacete buscando trabajo. Cuando descubrí Helen Doron English, sentí que había encontrado mi vocación.
¿Por qué me gusta tanto enseñar aquí? Bueno, en primer lugar, es inspirador ver a nuestros alumnos aprender y crecer cada semana. En segundo lugar, disfruto creando props creativos para estimular el progreso del aprendizaje de nuestros alumnos. Por último, con nuestra metodología, ¡aprender y enseñar es TAN DIVERTIDO!

I am a primary education English teacher and I joined the Helen Doron team at the beginning of 2024.
I love teaching, and I also love learning. I’m always looking for new knowledge and skills to grow as a person and as a teacher.
I feel really happy to be able to be a part of many children’s learning process, motivating them and enjoying every moment of the process with them.

Soy maestra de primaria con mención en Lengua Inglesa y me uní al equipo de Helen Doron a principios de 2024.
Me encanta enseñar, y además, me encanta aprender. Siempre estoy en busca de conocimiento y habilidades que me ayuden a crecer como persona y como profesora.
Estoy muy contenta de poder formar parte del proceso de aprendizaje de tantos niños, motivándolos cada día y disfrutando con ellos cada momento.
