Hi, I´m Dora.
I´m a TEACHER and, since 2017, a member of the FAMILY that is Helen Doron English Cuenca.
I do say “FAMILY”, because that´s what we are, a big and beautiful family, growing and developing together, constantly learning from one another, facing and overcoming each challenge with courage and strength for we stand united.
My students are my children and it´s both a blessing and a huge responsibility to be a part of their lives.
It´s a blessing to be able to see them grow and evolve, acquiring knowledge and discovering the world, to be surrounded by their uniqueness and challenged by it. It´s also a huge responsibility, because they´re slowly growing and shaping into the adults that they are going to be, so they need solid bricks to build and to step upon on their way up.
As a teacher, I feel responsible of providing them with such a brick, empowered and fortified with knowledge, self-esteem, courage, strength, love and compassion.

Soy PROFESORA y, desde 2017, un miembro de la FAMILIA que es Helen Doron English Cuenca.
Sí, digo “FAMILIA” porque eso es lo que somos, una gran y estupenda familia, creciendo y mejorando juntos; constantemente aprendiendo uno del otro, enfrentándonos y superando cada desafío, con fuerza y coraje, porque estamos unid@s.
Mis alumn@s son también mis niñ@s, siendo una bendición, y una gran responsabilidad, el poder formar parte de sus vidas.
Es una satisfacción tener la oportunidad de verlos crecer y evolucionar, adquiriendo conocimientos y descubriendo el mundo, rodeándome de sus singularidades y desafíos diarios. Es también una gran responsabilidad, porque poco a poco van creciendo y formándose en adultos; y necesitan una base firme sobre la que construir y pisar fuerte en su camino hacia la cima.
Como profesora, siento que tengo la responsabilidad de proporcionarles este camino, empoderando y educando en conocimiento, autoestima, coraje, fuerza, amor y compasión.

Hello, I’m Sue and I’m from Newcastle in the North East of England.
I have been teaching English for almost 10 years in Spain.
I’ve got 2 bilingual children. My daughter is in Primary, my son is in High school and I am incredibly proud of them both.
I love animales and am dedicated to promoting good animal welfare. I also love being out and about in the fresh air.
I joined Helen Doron at the beginning of 2020 and passed the Teacher Training Course in the summer. I’m thankful and appreciative of working with such a fantastic team.
I have had a hugely positive experience working in Helen Doron and I’m grateful to be working with babies, young children and teenagers in BBS, FWF, MFWF and TE.
Teaching is such a joy for me, I love seeing them grow, connecting the dots and becoming more wiser and stronger.
Hola soy Sue y soy de Newcastle en el noreste de Inglaterra.
Llevo enseñando inglés durante 10 años en España.
Tengo 2 hijos bilingües. Mi hija está en Primaria y mi hijo en Secundaria; y estoy increíblemente orgullosa de ambos.
Me encantan los animales y me dedico a promover el bienestar animal. También me encanta disfrutar del aire libre.
Me uní a Helen Doron Cuenca a principios de 2020 y aprobé el Teacher Training Course en verano. Estoy agradecida de trabajar con un equipo tan fantástico.
He tenido una experiencia enormemente positiva trabajando en Helen Doron y estoy orgullosa de trabajar con bebés, niños pequeños y adolescentes en los cursos de BBS, FWF, MFWF y TE.
Enseñar es una gran alegría para mí, me encanta verlos crecer, conectando conocimientos, haciéndose más sabios y fuertes.

Hello Helen Doronians!
I’m Irene Moreno; I’m from Cuenca and I started working as an English teacher at Helen Doron in September 2018.
I am a primary and early childhood education English teacher and I finished my master’s degree in bilingual education for secondary education some months ago.
I am a very active person and I usually do several things at the same time. I fancy the arts and crafts, animals, painting, hiking, getting lost in nature, sports, cinema and theatre, singing and dancing around the house, learning new languages and discovering new places.
When I was a child, I always wanted to become a teacher and work in a school. I believe that teachers should leave a print on the hearts of their students and, thanks to Helen Doron English Cuenca, I could fulfill my dream, to teach English in a creative and dynamic school.
I love children, encouraging and motivating them so day afer day they can learn something new, being a cause for them to smile and go on studying more and more.
In short, being a teacher for me is not just a job, it is a way of life, it is a way of feeling alive, it is a constant personal and professional enrichment.

Soy Irene Moreno, soy de Cuenca de toda la vida y empecé a trabajar como profesora de inglés en Helen Doron en septiembre de 2018.
Soy maestra de primaria e infantil con mención en “Lengua Extranjera” y hace unos meses terminé el master de educación bilingüe para educación secundaria.
Soy una persona muy activa e inquieta, siempre ando haciendo mil y una cosas a la vez; me encantan las manualidades, los animales, pintar, hacer senderismo, perderme por la naturaleza, hacer deporte, el mundo del cine y el teatro, cantar y bailar por casa, aprender nuevos idiomas y descubrir nuevos lugares.
Desde que era pequeña siempre he querido ser maestra y dedicarme a la enseñanza. Creo que los docentes debemos dejar huella en los corazones de nuestros alumnos y gracias a Helen Doron English Cuenca he podido cumplir mi sueño, dedicarme a la enseñanza de una forma totalmente creativa, innovadora y dinámica.
Me encantan los niñ@s, animarles y motivarles para que cada día aprendan algo nuevo, ser una causa por la cual sonrían y tengan más ganas de seguir formándose.
En definitiva, ser profesora para mi no es solo un trabajo, es una forma de vida, es una manera de sentirme viva, es un enriquecimiento personal y profesional constante.
